Dixons Can Learn A Lot From the Ukraine!
In case you have been living under a rock these past few months, the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, is a literal war-zone. The city has been torn apart by Pro-European Socialist protesters and Pro-Russian Loyalists in the Government. Essentially the protesters want the Ukraine to ditch Russia and join the European Union, and the Government wants to remain an ally of Russia and part of the Russian based alliance that stands in opposition to the EU.
All that aside… frankly we Dixons have no interest in Russia or European Socialism… but we Dixons can learn a lot from the protesters and how they have successfully fought of not just the Kiev Police Dept., Ukrainian State Police, but the entire Ukrainian Armed Forces for the better part of 3 months… in the dead of a brutal winter as well.
Up until last week the protesters fought off the government forces with nothing but makeshift riot shields, motorcycle gear, surplus Soviet era military gear, sticks, stones, fireworks, and Molotov cocktails.
While the Rebel Yell nor the Free Dixie Project is advocating marching on Dixon State capitals and doing to them what the protesters in the Ukraine has done to Kiev, we are advocating that we Dixons take the time to learn the tactics and battle strategies of the protesters to learn how to defend ourselves and our rights should the Federal Empire become hostile towards not just the Dixon people, but the American people as well.
Phew… now that was a mouth full.
Below are some pictures and videos from the protests. Keep in mind that you don’t need a million rounds of ammo and a small stock pile of automatic rifles to stage a revolution, should the need arise to stage one. All you need is padded protective armor, a good sturdy helmet, eye protection, a working gas mask, food supplies, water supplies, a bunch of makeshift melee weapons (i.e. shields, batons, swords, etc.), cheap walkie talkies, Molotov cocktails, and a ton of firework mortars.
