Marijuana Smoke “10 times more toxic than Car Exhaust”

Don’t buy into the Liberal-Fascist lies that claim that marijuana is some kind of miracle drug, that is natural, clean, and healthy. Canadian, European, and Russian research scientists have concluded a 30 year study of marijuana itself, and those that use marijuana and have come to the conclusion that it would be safer to inhale diesel exhaust for an hour a day, then to smoke one joint every month.

Marijuana smoke is full of more carcinogens then diesel smoke, and this toxic weed contains over 40 neurological altering enzymes that attack and destroy brain cells, and 3 extremely hazardous compounds that can actually damage your genetic DNA structure in such a manner that can affect your future off-spring.

Researchers in Canada report that marijuana smoke contains significantly higher levels of several toxic compounds — including ammonia and hydrogen cyanide — than tobacco smoke and may therefore pose similar health risks.  David Moir and colleagues note that researchers have conducted extensive studies on the chemical composition of tobacco smoke, which contains a host of toxic substances, including about 50 that can cause cancer. However, there has been relatively little research on the chemical composition of marijuana smoke.

In this new study, researchers compared marijuana smoke to tobacco smoke, using smoking machines to simulate the smoking habits of users. The scientists found that ammonia levels were 20 times higher in the marijuana smoke than in the tobacco smoke, while hydrogen cyanide, nitric oxide and certain aromatic amines occurred at levels 3-5 times higher in the marijuana smoke, they say. The finding is “important information for public health and communication of the risk related to exposure to such materials,” say the researchers.

The study, “A Comparison of Mainstream and Sidestream Marijuana and Tobacco Cigarette Smoke Produced under Two Machine Smoking Conditions,” is scheduled for the Dec. 17 issue of ACS’ Chemical Research in Toxicology.

“Analysis of the smoke contents of marijuana and tobacco reveals much the same gas phase constituents, including chemicals known to be toxic to respiratory tissue. Moreover, these gas phase components are present in somewhat similar concentrations in the smoke generated from the same quantity of marijuana and tobacco.

The particulate phase (tar) constituents of marijuana and tobacco smoke are also generally similar, with the major exception that marijuana contains tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and scores of other llIC-like (cannabinoid) compounds not found in tobacco, while tobacco tar contains nicotine not found in marijuana.

With regard to the carcinogenic potential of marijuana, it is noteworthy that the tar phase of marijuana smoke contains many of the same carcinogenic compounds contained in tobacco smoke, including polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, such as benz[a]pyrene, which was recently identified as a key factor promoting human lung cancer… Preliminary findings suggest that marijuana smoke activates cytochrome P4501A1, the enzyme that converts polycyclic hydrocarbons, such as benz[a]pyrene, into active carcinogens.”

The Mayo Clinic stated in its Aug. 25, 2006 article “Marijuana as Medicine: Consider the Pros and Cons,” published on its website:

“Marijuana contains at least 60 chemicals called cannabinoids. Researchers are evaluating how effective some of these cannabinoids might be in controlling symptoms of certain medical conditions. For example:

  • THC. An abbreviation for delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, THC is the main component responsible for marijuana’s mind-altering effect. It also may help treat signs and symptoms such as nausea and vomiting that are associated with a number of medical conditions.

  • Cannabinol and cannabidiol. These compounds have some of the properties of THC, but cause less psychoactive effects — the high. […]

Also, marijuana smoke contains 50 percent to 70 percent more carcinogenic hydrocarbons than does tobacco smoke and has the potential to cause cancer of the lungs and respiratory tract. Marijuana smoke is commonly inhaled deeper and held longer than is tobacco smoke, increasing the lungs’ exposure to carcinogens.” Marijuana is so lethal and dangerous its only medically prescribed as an end of life pain management solution.

We could keep dropping MEDICAL FACTS but if you are a supporter of this toxic weed that is properly called “dope” then FACTS are not important to you. You would rather take the word of hippies and Liberal-Fascists that work for “High Times” or some street level drug dealer. Keep in mind that according to the Mayo Clinic, over 95% of all so-called marijuana experts that support its legalization do not hold a medical degree, are not licensed by any medical board, and in general lack the education to even answer a phone at a hospital, much less conduct medical research.
So next time you see a hippie or Liberal-Fascist down here in Florida go on and on about how marijuana should be legal, you need to dismiss them like you would a crazy person running around with shit on their face. Don’t try to disagree with them, these dolts carry tons of FAKE FACTS (i.e. pro-legalization propaganda) with them and will shout you down. You are wasting your time. Instead you need to approach those that are on the fence and educate them about the facts about how marijuana is dangerous and is banned for a reason.
If marijuana is legalized in Florida it will only be a matter of time before Florida turns into a Liberal-Fascist State and begins to come apart at the seams like California, New York, or Colorado.
