1 – Will the mine expansion get final HCBC approval? Sure, it will get approval because the HCBC doesn’t do any research, and because they don’t do any research the expansion will get shut down by the State. The proposed expansion area has a ton of State Protected Indian burial sites that have been documented and a ton that have yet to be discovered. The Seminoles had multiple settlements in and around this area for hundreds of years before the first settlers from Georgia arrived in our area over 300 years ago.
Confederates are all for Property Rights, but only Property Rights of people not multinational corporations like Cemex. In the event your didn’t know, Cemex is a Mexican Government owned entity (well its owned by the Mexican Govt’ by 40%). Worse yet this won’t provide any jobs to any Hernandoians. Instead existing Cemex workers will be flown in and out to work the site as needed, from Mexico, and other States.
Since this expansion threatens historically sensitive lands, and since this expansion won’t give anybody in Hernando County a job, we could care less.
2 – Are some government actions not for public consumption? Sure, Nuclear War, War in general, negotiating treaties… but like the founders said, the actions of the government should be limited to the realm of defense. Namely defense of our right to life, liberty, property, and happiness. We are a nation of laws, not men, so even the highest power in the land should not be above the law. Likewise government agencies should follow the law as well.
3 – Will you attend more Rays games once they move to downtown Tampa? Yes… I personally HATE baseball because I see it as a Yankee sport, even more so than hockey. I like hockey because its Canadian, and fun to watch. Meanwhile baseball is boring and hails from up north. In short the new stadium will draw more people to the games than before. Nobody wants to drive to the Oakland of Florida that is Pinellas County.
4 – What iconic TV series would you like to see brought back? X-Files
5 – If one American life was saved is prisoner torture justified? Yes… as they say its all fair in love and war.
6 – What’s the bigger rip-off; pet rock or naming a star? Naming a Star, because you really don’t get a star named after you. In fact many of the Stars named after people have disappeared from the sky already. For example, when NASA explores space, they don’t use the “International Star Registry” to plot courses to distant stars. They use the International Star Charts instead which does not take into account that somewhere out there is a star named “Bill Bob”.
7 – Are political leanings (conservative/liberal) genetically predisposed or learned (family/peers)? Impossible to tell. Some people are born bad (i.e. liberal), and some people are born stupid (i.e. conservative). Others are made that way over time by their environment. I came from a liberal household and taught myself the truth and became a Confederate on my own.
8 – Which would be worse torture; 10 minutes of water boarding or an evening of Christmas caroling with people you can’t stand? Stupid question… Water boarding for sure.
BONUS QUESTION: What would you like Santa (or Hanukkah Harry) to bring you this year that you cannot buy for yourself? A job making $40,000 in Hernando County… but alas, I don’t think that even Santa can do that. I have to support a household of 3, and $40K would be a stretch, but a thrifty household that lives within our means and off the land can pull this off easily, with money to spare. It would be a huge improvement over driving an hour and a half to Orlando everyday and back. Even though I make slightly over $40K out in Orlando, between gas, time, and service for my car, I really only make about $30K or so. So yeah… a job in Hernando County… or hell one of the surrounding Counties would be a welcome gift this Christmas.
Instead of wasting time the HCBC needs to focus on jobs, not approving a pork project for a major Republican Party campaign donor (i.e. Cemex) that brings in zero jobs… or re-naming the Brooksville Airport the Tampa Regional Airport despite the fact that Tampa is over an hour south… why not name it the Tampa-Orlando Regional Airport while your at it?
Your brilliant Hernando County Board of County Commissioners agreed to give $180,000 of your hard earned tax money to Micro Matic USA, which is a manufacturer of industrial beverage dispensing equipment with a U.S. headquarters at the Brooksville Airport.
Micro Matic was reportedly threatening to pull out of Hernando County if they didn’t receive a kick-back (i.e. incentive) to remain in their current “state of the art” 75,000-square-foot facility and build an additional $3 million, 40,000-square-foot plant on a separate site within the airport’s adjacent technology center.
Micro Matic plans to keep its existing 135-person workforce at the Brooksville location and hire 15 full-time workers during a three-year period with an average annual wage of $34,911.
Hernando County will award a jobs creation grant up to $45,000 to Micro Matic in annual installments for each phase of the expansion project.
The county will also pay out $135,000 based upon jobs retained to be paid in two annual installments.
Sooooo… let me get this right… The Hernando County BOCC just shelled out $180,000 bucks of your tax dollars to a company to save 135 jobs, and add 15 new jobs… for a grand total of 150 total jobs.
Given that our REAL unemployment rate is hovering around 26%, I really don’t think that this is money well spent. Note that by REAL we mean the actual number of residents (i.e. Florida Citizens) that don’t have work, and are currently receiving unemployment benefits, or have stopped receiving benefits. Since Obama and the crooks in Washington began rattling their “gun ban” sabres there have been wave after wave of Sheriff’s, local government bodies, and State legislatures passing resolutions making it a felony for Federal officials to enforce or seize firearms that are currently legal.
Unfortunately for us Crackers living not just in Hernando County, but throughout Florida, our Sheriff’s, local government bodies, and State legislature has remained very quite on any type of nullification against the pending Federal Assault Weapons Ban or attempted mass gun grab. In fact when asked about what they would do, our local Hernando County Sheriff and local County Commission has retorted with a “no comment” or has out right dodged/ignored the question.
In fact we have been trying to get Sheriff Al Neinhaus on record as saying that he will not seize guns since he was re-elected to office late last year.
Why is Neinhaus and your local Hernando County Commission silent on the issue of standing up for your 2nd Amendment rights which are not only guaranteed on the Federal level, but are also guaranteed on the State level with the Florida Constitution? Well its because they are all whores bending over the Federal Governments bed so they can paid for their obedient services, no matter how illegal and morally/ethically corrupt those services might be.
